I not know if this is a bug or an over site by Stardock.

Last year I got Object Desktop which gave me 365 Days (1 year) subscription Febuary 9th 2007 to Febuary 9th 2008

this year I renew'ed on Febuary 9Th 2008 to Febuary 8th? 2009 for another year (this is a Leap Year) so to me I should be getting 366 days.

My subscription should END on Febuary 9th but it dose not it is endding on feburay 8th 2008

so whyt does stardock not reckonize that this year has 366 days in it?

come on Stardock give me the full year I paid for I paid for 366 days becuase this year has 366 days in it.

Question:

Come Febuary 29th Wensday 2012 are you not going to pay your emplyees if they work that day which I am sure they do/will work that day?

I hope this was in jest.

This would be better asked to sales@stardock.com. As this is a 'community' forum the members of the community cannot assist you with a Stardock 365 or 366 day subscription question.

This calls for a lolcat

One could effectively say that if you subscribed from the 09/02/07 until 09/02/08, you were actually getting 366 days. Only being subscribed until the 8th of next year makes sense to me, because getting a subscription until the same day you subscribed initially would give you one extra day. So, have YOU paid stardock for your extra day you've already had?

LOL ...if that ain't about the silliest thing ive heard this week.

Well fook me...

I'd like to know why my subscription doesn't last 365.242374 days (approximately)

I was almost too lazy as well... Then decided it needed to be said.

You must be kidding me. Does 1 day matter? By the way, a year subscription lasts 365 days, because usually, there are 365 days in a year.

If you need further explanation why a year is 365 days to Stardock, feel free to PM me

Wow...just wow. This guy finds anything he can to complain about.
on Feb 28, 2008
Unfortunately, if this is a complaint, his logic is invalidated with his first sentence. 365 days between two regular years will not get you back to the same day you started.

Example if your are born on Feb. 9th your 1 years old Feb.9 not Feb 8th

Actually, he could be due a refund. Let's examine this logically™ Each subscription is 365 days, but as we know, each year is approximately 365.242374 days long. In rough terms that equals 365+365+365+366 days over four years. So, for your subscription, you are in advance on the 365 day years, and behind on the 366 day year.

However, for that to be exact, the years would have to be 365.25 days long, which they are not. Therefore if you take the residual of (approx) .0969496 of a year, and apply that against an OD subscription, I think you will find he has a legitimate claim for a refund of .003365 (approx) of a cent.

Please refund this immediately.
