I use (Spin It Again) "BY Acoustica" to digitize MY LP's and Cassettes. It will set volume levels, split the tracks automatically. It has a field to type in name of song, artist name, genera and any comments you would like to make. You can then either burn the CD from Spin It Again or save it as an MP3 or Wav file or save it to work on later. You can import all the information into acoustica label maker and have all the info such as track number artist name and any other info you typed into the fields.

Very clean interface and easy to use it also has several filters to clean up pop and hiss and other custom filters built in. Plus many other great features. All for $ 34.95

I already did this using Ashampoo Music Studio, but being that a couple of tracks turned out a bit seedy, I will redo them using Nero 7 and use your handy article as a reference. Thanks for that, it will come in quite handy...printed it up so I can check back without having to open & close windows, etc.
